DIC GROUP COOPERATES WITH THE RED CROSS SOCIETY OF VUNG TAU CITY TO ORGANIZE A HUMANITARIAN BLOOD DONATION PROGRAM

On the morning of April 13rd, 2023, DIC Group coordinated with the Red Cross Society of Vung Tau city to organize a humanitarian blood donation program.

With the theme "National Day of Voluntary Blood Donation", the voluntary blood donation day had more than 300 visits of officials, union members and employees registered to participate in blood donation. On the day of blood donation, participants in blood donation are screened, blood tests, blood pressure measurements, health checks before donating blood. At the end of the blood donation event, the Organizing Committee collected 250 units of clean and quality blood and transferred it to the Cho Ray Hospital Blood Transfusion Center to serve the rescue and treatment of patients.

This blood donation drive has more than 300 employees of DIC Group. As a result, nearly 250 units of blood were collected, contributing valuable blood units, for emergency and treatment work.

Participating in the voluntary blood donation day, Mr. Le Xuan Ngoc – Secretary of the grassroots delegation shared: "I have directly participated in 21 voluntary blood donation drives, I find blood donation very necessary to help those who need blood in times of illness and serious illness. After each blood donation, I feel that my health is completely normal, this is also a time to check to know more about my health, be checked by doctors to measure blood pressure, check health, all activities go normally, eat better."

Voluntary Blood Donation Day aims to raise the sense of responsibility and sense of community for cadres, union members and employees; affirming that DIC Group always has practical activities for public health, with profound human meaning.
