MR. NGUYEN HUNG CUONG APPOINTED VICE CHAIRMAN OF THE HO CHI MINH CITY BUSINESS FEDERATION

On August 27^th, 2026, the first Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Business Federation (HUBA) for the 2026-2031 term formally established its new leadership. The Congress agreed to rename the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association as the Ho Chi Minh City Business Federation and elected a 93-member Executive Committee for the 2026-2031 term. Mr. Nguyen Hung Cuong, Chairman of DIC Group, was elected Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Business Federation.

Overview of the Congress.

For the 2026-2031 term, the Federation has set six key priorities, focusing on strengthening its role in bringing together and representing the business community, expanding cooperation and resource connectivity, improving competitiveness, and contributing to Ho Chi Minh City's socio-economic development. The Federation also aims to develop high-quality human resources, protect the legitimate rights and interests of its members, help improve the local investment and business environment, and promote the city's entrepreneurial culture.

Mr. Nguyen Hung Cuong brings to the Federation's leadership practical experience gained from running DIC Group, a company operating in urban development and investment. As Chairman, he has experience in strategic planning, resource organization, and investment execution, giving him a practical perspective on the issues businesses currently face.
