From May 26th, 1990, to May 26th, 2025, DIC Group celebrates its 35-year milestone. Starting as a small enterprise under the Ministry of Construction, DIC has consistently innovated and risen to become a Top 10 reputable real estate developer in Vietnam. Its landmark projects have reshaped urban landscapes, demonstrating strategic vision and pioneering efforts in unlocking the potential of satellite cities.
A Legacy of Pioneering Leadership
DIC Group was established on May 26th, 1990, during Vietnam’s economic reform era. Early on, DIC embraced modernization in its organizational and operational models. In 2002, it became one of the first enterprises under the Ministry of Construction to pilot the parent-subsidiary model, enhancing governance efficiency and diversifying operations. By 2008, DIC completed its equitization, laying the groundwork for a new phase of capital autonomy.

DIC’s predecessor was the Vung Tau Construction Guesthouse, initially tasked with tourism services and convalescence under the Ministry of Construction’s plans.
On August 19th, 2009, DIC listed its shares (DIG) on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE), unlocking new growth opportunities.
A pivotal moment came on November 28th, 2017, when DIC successfully divested 49.65% of state capital, transitioning into a private economic group. This move complied with government regulations and contributed VND 2,274 billion to the state budget.
Since 2017, DIC has solidified its position as a leading private real estate enterprise. As of Q1/2025, its consolidated assets reached VND 18,910 billion, with charter capital of VND 6,099 billion. By streamlining operations and adopting modern governance, DIC has maintained stable growth despite market challenges.
Creating Model Urban Areas
With strategic foresight, DIC has developed benchmark urban projects like Chi Linh (Vung Tau), Nam Vinh Yen (Vinh Phuc), Dai Phuoc Eco-Tourism Township (Dong Nai), and DIC Victory City Hau Giang. These projects integrate comprehensive technical-social infrastructure, commercial hubs, and lifestyle amenities, elevating living standards and serving as catalysts for regional urbanization, economic growth, and local employment.

DIC’s urban areas prioritize meticulous planning, enhancing living standards.
DIC’s standardized planning has turned its urban areas into development hubs, accelerating urbanization, boosting local economies, and generating jobs. Beyond addressing housing demand, these projects alleviate population pressure on major cities, reshaping Vietnam’s urban space toward balance, modernity, and sustainability.
Commitment to Community
Beyond business, DIC prioritizes social responsibility. From 2020–2024, it contributed over VND 1,550 billion to state budgets and implemented welfare initiatives, including disaster relief, scholarships, and pandemic support.
To celebrate its 35th anniversary, DIC launched the “35 DIC Homes” initiative, constructing houses for disadvantaged families, including long-term employees. To date, 35 homes have been completed, providing stability and hope.

The “35 DIC Homes” program – A practical social welfare activity celebrating DIC’s 35th anniversary.
Through these efforts, DIC reinforces its pioneering role in community development and commitment to harmonizing business growth with social responsibility.
2025–2030 Vision: Expanding Strategic Pillars
Entering 2025–2030, DIC aims to scale nationwide operations, focusing on three pillars: real estate, urban infrastructure, and resort tourism. This strategy builds on 35 years of foundations: prime land reserves, sound finances, and transparent governance. With long-term vision and bold leadership, DIC is poised to advance sustainable development, modernize urban landscapes, and amplify positive community impact.
