APPROVAL OF TECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT IN NORTHERN VUNG TAU NEW URBAN AREA

The provincial People's Committee has recently issued a decision approving DIC Corp (Located at 265 Le Hong Phong Street, Ward 8, Vung Tau City) to invest in the technical infrastructure project of Northern Vung Tau New Urban Area in an area ​​about 90ha in Ward 12, Vung Tau City. The estimated total investment is over VND 4 trillion (Owner's equity, commercial loans and other funds).

The project implementation aims to create a spacious and modern new urban area, contributing to perfecting the general planning of Vung Tau city in the province’s industrialization and modernization period. The implementation duration is expected to be 11 years from the first quarter of 2015 and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The project location consists of three land plots with four-side boundaries as follows: Lot 1 (41.2 ha) has the Northwest conterminous with Eo Ong Tu, the Northeast conterminous with residential area, the Southeast adjacent to 3/2 Street, the Southwest adjacent to the new urban  project Ward 11 and Ward 12; Lot No. 2 (32.4 ha) has the Northwest adjacent to Eo Ong Tu; the Northeast adjacent to residential area, the Southeast adjacent to existing coastal road, the Southwest adjacent to 3/2 Street; Lot No. 3 (20.4 hectares) has the Northwest adjacent to the 51B-51C Roundabout and coastal roads, the Northeast and Southeast adjacent to the residential project of the Housing Development JSC, the Southwest adjacent to 3/2 Street.

Preliminary contents of the project: Completing the construction of technical infrastructure system according to the 1/500 scale detailed plan, including such work items as traffic floor, power supply, lighting supply, water supply, drainage system and environmental sanitation, communications and technical trench system.
