DIC CORP - THE MAIN SPONSOR FOR BA RIA - VUNG TAU OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT

DIC Corp is honored to be the main sponsor for 3 consecutive years for the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Open Golf Tournament which took place at Vung Tau Paradise Golf Club on 16 September, 2017. The event was co-organized by Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspaper, the Department of Culture and Information and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Golf Association.

This year's tournament attracted more than 240 golfers who are successful businessmen and leaders of departments and Vung Tau city. The golfers were divided into 4 tables: VIP, A, B, C. There were 23 prizes at the end: 1 Best Gross Award; 1 Best Net Award, 4 First Prizes; 4 second prizes; 4 third prizes for 23 golfers in 4 tables; 9 technical awards (including 3 Longest Drive, 3 Nearest to Pin, 3 Accuracy).

The event contributes actively to the exchange, attracting people to participate in the sport of golf, creating new products for tourism. Thereby, the tournament helps introducing Vung Tau images to visitors in Vietnam and abroad, and actively contributing to charitable social work in the province.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizers donated VND 60 million sponsored by DIC Corp and other businesses, and golfers to 3 units: Vung Tau Children Support Center; Blind Association of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province and Social Protection Center of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, VND 20 million for each unit.
